The 成人大片 (鈥淯niversity鈥) delivers SACE Stage II and study assist subject preparation and revision courses (鈥淵ear 12 Tuition Courses鈥) to help Year 11 and Year 12 students achieve their full academic potential and prepare for future tertiary study. The terms and conditions applicable to Year 12 Tuition Courses are set out below. By purchasing a place on a Year 12 Tuition Course, you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these terms and conditions.
Securing your place on a course
To secure your place on the Year 12 Tuition Course of interest, you must purchase a place on the course via the University鈥檚 online shop. Course places are limited and offered on a 鈥榝irst come, first served鈥 basis. Any applicable discount will be automatically applied at checkout, subject to the relevant information having been provided by you.
You will be required to provide certain information (including personal information) to enable us to process your purchase of a place on the Year 12 Tuition Course of your choice.
The information you provide will be used and handled in accordance with the聽University鈥檚 Privacy Policy.
Please ensure that you provide accurate and complete details. You acknowledge that the University may not be able to be process your purchase if details provided by you are inaccurate or incomplete.
Once your purchase has been finalised and cleared funds have been received by the University, your place on the Year 12 Tuition Course as a 鈥榩articipant鈥 will be secured, and will be considered a binding agreement with the University. Confirmation of purchase will be provided in writing via the email address supplied by you at checkout.
University-initiated course cancellations
The University reserves the right to cancel a course, at any time and for any reason. If the University cancels a course prior to commencement, you will be
notified in a timely manner and offered a transfer to another instance of the same course or to an alternate course of the same value that is of interest to you. If you do not accept the course transfer offered and if payment has already been received, a full refund will be provided.
Participant-initiated course withdrawal
Where you notify the University of your withdrawal from a course and payment has already been received, at the discretion of the University, a part or full refund will be offered, depending on the circumstances relating to the withdrawal.
Participant-initiated course transfer
Transferring to a different course or another instance of the same course is possible, provided the course transfer does not adversely affect course numbers, and is approved by the University (at its reasonable discretion). Course transfer requests must be made in writing by you (or your authorised representative) at least 7 calendar days prior to the commencement of the course from which you are seeking to transfer.
Failure to attend a course
If you fail to attend a course or course session due to illness and provide a medical certificate within 72 hours of the missed session, we will use our best endeavours to reschedule you onto another (same) session or course.
If you fail to attend a course or session for any other reason, no rescheduling will occur and the course fee will not be refunded.

Payment for any Year 12 Tuition Course must be made in full prior to the commencement of the course.
